I realize as I read this that if I truly understand it all, then the writer has failed to write a piece that evokes without being obvious.
ReplyDeleteAnd being evocative is the name of the game.
Well, some of these are easy to link to the writer, others are more obscure. Taken as a whole, yes, we are in the territory of the evocative where even the obscure give a buzz and are the necessary shading to the less obscure.
